2. What data we collect

• When you join the waitlist: first name, last name, phone number and email.
• When you buy the Course: name, email and the payment status. Card data is processed by the payment provider WayForPay and is never visible to us.
• When you use the student area: your email, your password in encrypted form, your progress in the lessons, the homework assignments you send (images, links, text) and your questions under the lessons.

3. Why we use it

• To keep you informed about the start of the Course and the early price, if you joined the waitlist. Legal basis: your consent.
• To give you access to the Course, check your homework and answer your questions. Legal basis: the contract.
• To accept payments and keep accounting records. Legal basis: the contract and legal obligations.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

4. Who processes the data for us

• Netlify: website hosting.
• Supabase: student accounts, homework and lesson data.
• MailerLite: the waitlist and emails about the Course.
• WayForPay: card payments.
• YouTube: video lessons are played through an embedded YouTube player.
• Google Fonts: the fonts of the website.

Some of these providers may process data outside your country. They use standard safeguards required by data protection law.

5. Who can see your homework

Your homework and the feedback on it are visible only to you and Helen Kotenko. Questions under the lessons are visible to all participants of the Course.

6. How long we keep it

Waitlist data is kept until you unsubscribe. Account and homework data is kept while you have access to the Course and is deleted on request or within 6 months after access ends. Payment records are kept for the period required by tax law.

7. Cookies

The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The student area stores a login session in your browser so you stay logged in. The embedded YouTube player may set its own cookies when you play a video.

8. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, withdraw your consent, or object to its processing at any time. Every email has an unsubscribe link. To use any of these rights, write to helenkotenko.course@gmail.com. You also have the right to file a complaint with the data protection authority of your country.

This policy may be updated. The current version is always on this page.
